- Recommended needles: 16" circular needle, double point needles, needle size suggested in the yarn label
- Sample yarn used: Yarn Bee Soft Secret Yarn
- Beanie size: 16-18” x 9” with hem
Beanie instruction
Cast on | for needle size 4mm 80-100 stitches depending on hat circumference. You do an increment of 4 stiches 84, 88, 92 stitches for bigger head. For male adult I cast 100 stitches. |
Ribbing | k2, p2 repeated across round. Join to knit in the round. Repeat until ribbing about 1.75 - 2 inches depending on preference. |
Knit | until the hat measures the desired height for size |

Row 2,4,6 | knit |
Row 3 | *K5, K2tog; repeat from * around |
Row 5 | *K4, K2tog; repeat from * around. |
Row 7 | *K3, K2tog; repeat from * around. You can change to double point neeles here. |

Row 11 | Cut yarn, weave in all ends |
